You are invited to contribute videos to our YouTube page as part of the backstory of the Supremacy Project, as a sort of an ongoing thematic film festival. By including your work with others in our web collection, it will make it more likely to be viewed by many more people. As a further incentive, we propose a $500 prize for whichever clips has the highest number of views at the release date of "Drones, Clones and Pheromones". We don’t want to inhibit creativity in any way, but we reserve the right to refuse a video if it conflicts with the story line already established for the theatrcal features. THE PROJECT:
Videos may be any style; e.g. documentary, news item, short form narrative, mini-series, or animation of any sort. Think “outside the box”, be inventive and entertaining. Click here to go to our YouTube collection
Must conform to web movie constraints, such as those on YouTube, and may not contain copyrighted material not owned by the maker. If a submission is accepted for inclusion on the Back Story web pages, a full NTSC video must be provided to us for a future DVD release. This DVD will explore the interactive resources of DVD authoring so it does not follow the normal linear form of narrative.
We reserve the right to reject any submission according to our discretion which may be for, but not limited to, copyright infringement, inadequate production quality, conflict with established story lines in The Supremacy Project, offensive representations, and out of character behavior.
PLOT POINTS:
Humanity around the globe is in serious trouble:
Birth defects are a worldwide pandemic because of the toxic load upon the Earth’s ecosystem and a willful spread of a mutation causing virus.
Genetic science made great progress, in spite of the tight restrictions imposed by most governments around the world. Some of the early success in gaining access to stem cells has been negated by laws forbidding their use under any circumstances. Cloning human beings in all nations, in fact, is forbidden with serious punishments.
Beginning in the first year of the Third Millennium, human beings have been cloned in secret and raised in secret. Private individuals with the financial ability to pay several million dollars per clone, have created multiples of themselves, but only after careful genetic analysis to determine that their chromosomes are undamaged.
Bowing to unrelenting religious pressure from theistic religions, the US government has denied any and all human rights to a cloned human being. The Justice Department has been charged to exterminate all human clones and bring their prototypes and their physicians to justice.
The Human Destiny Foundation:
HDF is known for its amazing successes in therapeutic genetics, from curing Down’s syndrome, hair lips, and in-situ organ replacement. Although lacking its own medical facility, works closely with hospitals and clinics around the globe. The HDF is under scrutiny by the Justice Department because its medical advisors insist this work could be performed only with outlawed stem cell lines,. HDF generated an ongoing controversy by associating itself with gender reassignment clinics using gene replacement methods.
Unknown to the general public, the HDF is communal home to several families of clones , all of which were created by its director Dr. Victor Darwin. Families range in age from infants to late twenties, male and female, and ethnicity's including Euro, Native American, Mexican, Afro and Asian. All have been genetically enhanced for physical well being, mental capacity, and creative talents. The family groups, all of which are headed by their prototypes, see themselves collectively as a tribe. In general, out of safety concerns the clones keep to themselves, only venturing out to conduct necessary business.
One clone eager to break out and assimilate into society is Felix Cienega. Dr. Darwin has raised him as if his own, but otherwise he has other family. His prototype Jonathan, was his co-creator with Dr. Darwin. Jonathan abandoned Felix and the work at the Foundation at Felix’s birth and his whereabouts are unknown. This is attributed to his feeling fully responsible for the death of Felix’s surrogate mother, in that he should have anticipated that her body would react with toxic shock syndrome to the radically modified baby in her womb.
Religion and The Fellowship of Legitimate Families:
The Reverend Jerry Orwell is a Christian broadcasting phenomenon in grabbing the lion’s share of religious audiences and setting new records for viewer’s donations. Most of the donations have been for campaigns to influence government at all levels to conform to Orwell’s vision of a godly country. His most successful campaign so far has been to convince his congregation and the country in general that human clones do not have god given souls and are thus abominations in God’s sight that must be utterly destroyed. He has funded a grass roots militia to protect the church and enforce its doctrines.

Felix, late teen verging on manhood, bright, too smart for his own or anybody else’s good, athletic, risk taking, rascal. Played with pheromones since he could crawl, especially since he can read the full range of pheromones and create them through his emotions as if they were a language to him. A natural student of human biology, but obsessed with math and physics. His IQ is not only very high, but also it’s so unlike the typical human’s, that the standard testing techniques fail to rate him. Backstory can show him as a child or adolescent. David Tolemy has been cast to play Felix and is available for Backstory directors.
Will, college freshman, transplanted from the Midwest to study at California’s new campus dedicated to forestry and park management. He is attending on a football and track scholarship, but has to take a job to support himself. The only easy jobs to get are security jobs, so he gets hired by the Human Destiny Foundation as gate keeper. The adult Will has been cast with Steven Vilendrer and is available for Backstory directors. Backstory can show him as a child or adolescent with a younger actor.
Dr. Victor Darwin, an actual descendent of THE Darwin, is the Thomas Edison of genetic engineering. His methods have provided many valuable cures for diseases, birth defects and injuries. An expert in his field, he is often called upon to testify before Congress regarding the pandemic of mutant births. He was the co-creator of Felix as well as the other clones at the the HDF. There he is highly respected and loved both as creator and as a grandfather figure to the whole tribe. He loves each and every one of them, but especially Felix who he has taken under his wing. He works tirelessly, looks generally unkempt, is gentle and considerate, but also can be way too self absorbed in his own mind. He is not yet cast, nor has his race been established.
Agent Louis Sheldon, a high up officer of the US Department of Justice, answering only to the Attorney General. Assigned to carry out Congress’s mandate to rid the country of human clones, and put their creator’s and funders behind bars. A childless woman with her clock ticking, she is horrified at the prospect of women losing their control over human reproduction, first with male originated laws regarding birth control, abortion rights, and property rights. While dutiful to the killing of clones, she has a private agenda of securing the secrets of Felix’s enhancements for herself and clones she wishes to have made of herself. Uncast, of as yet undetermined race.
Jerry Orwell, hugely successful televangelist, uses hot button issues to raise funds. Although his methods are questionable, in his heart he believes he is doing God’s work. He has been stirring up a lot of hatred for cloned humans on the basis they have no souls. Ready to put his militia under the command of the US Justice Department to eradicate clones, he is not willing to go ahead until he is sure they are soulless. He has a wife, a retarded boy, a bright daughter and a devoted wife, pregnant with a mutant baby. She wants to abort it, but he cannot afford the publicity, and he is sincere in his right to life, will of God beliefs.
Men in Black, federal agents as a group, conformist personalities, cold blooded and efficient. Some MIB’s could be female. In the Back Story, there is room for MIB’s who go against their orders and show compassion to the clones, thus making themselves outlaws.
Craig, is a city cop who sincerely tries to do a good job of getting the bad guys and protecting the good guys in spite of being too rigid and judgmental. In the Back Story, he’s had only peripheral contact and knowledge of the clones and the the HDF. Already cast as Shannon Carl Silva is a available to Back Story directors.
The Clone Families, to be played by the same actor or identical twins for each family in the tribe. Genetically enhanced, all tend to be very attractive, smart, and great bodies. Family names include the Hubbards (female late twenties, leadership qualities), the Avalons (male, late twenties, aggression), the LeMars (female, early twenties, empaths), the Stones (female, mid twenties, general purpose babes), and the Listers (male, teens, adventuresome).
Senator Dobson, mature female US Senator, right wing all the way, and very eager to use the clone issue for political advancement. Not yet cast, nor the ethnicity established.
Nanny, middle aged mother figure to the young clone children. She doesn’t like the cloning thing, but worries that the children will be neglected for being many, one like another. She sees to it that they’re fed, protected, read to, and get enough exercise and sleep. Already cast as Christabel Savalas and is available to Back Story directors.
